Sabre Training Day
Sunday 16th November 2003
An introduction to the Russian system of sabre training used during the height of their success. The main emphasis is on distance control and balance. The Russians use distance effectively to create opportunities for ‘attacking on preparation’ and when this is combined with a full system of reaction training they are able to dominate the fight and take it to their opponent’s end of the piste.
